Coubeche Enterprises exist since 1870.
The
two enterprises combine two distinct activities;
- One of commercial nature
with the importation and distribution of foodstuffs by wholesale and
retailing;
- The other of industrial nature with the bottling and
distribution of soft drinks and mineral water, all licensed products of The Coca
Cola Company.
They both have the same legal status, SARL, the same capital,
250 000 000 fdj and the same associates. Approximately, 500 persons are directly
employed.
The
historical activity of this company is the supply of ships; its symbolic
activity is the production of ice. In 1970 the company developed the food
retailing sector with the creation of two supermarkets. In 2007, a new
logistical warehouse will open its doors.
The Coubèche Establishment SARL created their first factory of Coca Cola products in 1964. In 1974, a new factory is built on its present location. The latest equipment was installed in 2005/2006. The mineral water Crystal was launched in 2001.
